Scaffold and Formwork Steel Prop Design Import for Loading Capacity
As a leading scaffolding and formwork product manufacturer, we tested a lot of scaffold steel prop in all different size in min and max height, all inner and outer tube diameter and all wall thickness of steel props.
Steel Props buyers mostly is scaffolding distributors who has its own scaffold steel prop drawing with all size, specifications, inner and outer tube size, base plate and top plate(U head）sizes. The drawings is mostly popular size in its country. But most of scaffolding importers are not sure about loading capacity of their designed props.
Some steel prop buyer are construction companies and contractors, they offers only information about min height and max height of steel props. But do not have details about how to design steel props.
Actually, steel props design is very related with its loading capacity in construction usage as a support for concrete and formwork.
For example, same adjustable range of steel props, but loading capacity can be very different. 2.2-3.9mtr steel prop is one of the most popular scaffolding steel props in construction, if we use same 2.0mm steel tube, but loading capacity can be 20KN or 12KN,16KN at 3.9mtr height.
The main reason is factory do not sure what factors can impact the loading capacity. They design scaffold props cost-direction or sales-diretion, not loading capacity direction.
So when we tell you our loading capacity is 20KN at 3.9mtr use 2.0mm , do not feel supprise, the main reason is how you design the props.
